This part-time associate is responsible for sampling alcohol products for suppliers at a Sam’s Club location. Alcohol Samplers engage customers by introducing them to new and exciting products through tastings. While experience in customer service, food handling, bartending, serving, cashiering, stocking, demonstrating, or brand advocacy is beneficial, it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements and the specific dress code for alcohol sampling (typically black attire).
• Acquire and ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws pertinent to the sampling and marketing of alcohol.
• Obtain the necessary permits, licenses, or certifications as required by law.
• Prepare and serve alcohol and food samples professionally and safely, utilizing various types of equipment and small appliances.

Qualifications

• Must be between 18-21 years of age, depending on location.
• Availability to work on weekends (Friday-Sunday) is preferred; holiday and weekday shifts are also available.
• Reliable access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
• Ability to safely operate appliances (microwave, toaster oven, hot plate).
