AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $14 to $15 for an Aquatics Instructor at the Romulus Athletic Center in Romulus, MI, appears to be below the national average for similar positions. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median hourly wage for swimming instructors in the United States is approximately $16.50. While specific data for Romulus, MI, is limited, this suggests that the offered rate may be slightly below industry standards. However, local factors such as cost of living, demand for aquatics programs, and the center’s budget could influence compensation rates. It’s advisable to compare this rate with other local facilities and consider the full compensation package, including benefits and opportunities for advancement, to assess overall competitiveness.
