AI Pay Analysis: The hourly rate of $18.65 to $37.35 for an “Assistant Microbiologist – 3rd Shift, Wed – Sat” in Columbus, OH, is somewhat competitive, depending on experience and the specific responsibilities of the role. Entry-level positions in microbiology typically start closer to the lower end of this range, while those with more experience or specialized skills may command rates toward the higher end. According to industry data, salaries for microbiology technicians can vary widely based on factors such as education and certifications, but rates in this range align with national averages.
