Job description:
We are excited to welcome enthusiastic Automotive Mechanics to join Team Mavis at our modern automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Streetsboro, OH area. As part of Mavis Tires & Brakes, one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our valued customers.
Position Overview
As Automotive Mechanics, you will be entrusted with inspecting, diagnosing, and executing a diverse range of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Your responsibilities will encompass various undercar repairs, including brakes, struts, and shocks. Additionally, you will perform state-mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and manage the mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing of tires.

Qualifications
We seek team members who are dedicated to achieving complete customer satisfaction and high-quality service. To qualify for the Automotive Mechanic position, candidates must meet the following criteria: (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; (3) have a minimum of 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a relevant combination of education and experience; and (4) possess a personal tool box equipped for undercar repairs.
Preferred qualifications include: (1) state inspection license(s); and (2) ASE Certifications in Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
As an active role, Automotive Mechanics are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repetitive movements essential for vehicle maintenance and repair. Mechanics must routinely lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
