Spirit Airlines is seeking dedicated Aviation Warehouse Associates to support the logistical operations of our Technical Operations team.
As an Aviation Warehouse Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory levels to ensure that materials are readily available, preventing service disruptions and guaranteeing that our Guests reach their destinations safely and reliably.

Starting Pay: $18.00/hr
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare dangerous goods declarations for outbound shipments and review shipment checklists.
- Address station inquiries related to dangerous goods and manage hazardous materials appropriately.
- Retrieve parts and tools for transfer orders or maintenance line support, including pulling, packing, and shipping materials via COMAT or third-party services.
- Receive and stock materials and tools, conduct daily cycle counts, and maintain product inventory at workstations.
- Assist in the management of the inventory tracking system, recording deliveries, shipments, and stock levels to enhance inventory control processes.
- Analyze daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory challenges and communicate findings to the Materials team to meet business objectives.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while ensuring proper housekeeping in the warehouse and stockrooms.
- Adhere to safety protocols when operating forklifts or hand pallet jacks.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required; duties may shift based on operational needs or emergencies.
Qualifications:
Candidates must possess experience in inventory management within a warehouse setting, be proficient with computers and general office tasks, and excel in both verbal and written communication. An ideal candidate will be motivated, self-driven, and reliable while demonstrating professionalism, politeness, and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED certification.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid non-restricted Driver’s License.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Proficient with computers and possess basic knowledge of word processing software, inventory management, and email systems.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and stocking practices.
- Capacity to multi-task effectively, maintaining productivity while managing shifting responsibilities.
- Detail-oriented and dependable, capable of producing accurate work and completing assigned tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, as well as adapt to temperature changes and outdoor conditions.
- Consistent presence at the worksite is essential.
- Ability to meet specific airport requirements, such as obtaining a SIDA badge and customs seal.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
- Background in inventory management.
- Knowledge of aviation materials, including familiarity with part numbers and handling specifications.
- Experience in hazardous materials shipping and handling, including understanding HAZCOM and general shipping procedures.
- Forklift operation experience.
