Job Description
Job Title: Banquet Server
Company: Kewadin Casinos
Location: Sault Sainte Marie, MI
Pay: $9.64 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: An hourly rate of $9.64 for a Banquet Server in Sault Sainte Marie, MI, appears to be below the national average for similar roles, which typically ranges from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on factors such as experience and setting. In Michigan, the average hourly wage for servers, including those in banquet settings, is generally higher, often reflecting the state’s minimum wage and the demand for service industry workers. Additionally, the role often includes gratuities that can substantially increase overall earnings. Therefore, this rate may not be competitive when considering both local and national standards for banquet service positions, and it could impact the recruitment and retention of staff in the area.
