Job description:
Banquet Set Up Attendants play an essential role in preparing banquet rooms and hallways, as well as setting up tables and arranging linens for all catered events at the lodge. The setup may take place indoors or outdoors in tents or on patios during the summer months. Responsibilities also include assisting with bar back duties during bar events, and providing serving support as needed. This position is physically demanding.
Starting Pay: $10.70/hour
Work Hours: Shifts may begin as early as 5:00 AM for breakfast service and extend until 1:00 AM for weddings.

Responsibilities:
- Review Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) at the start of each shift.
- Ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are prepared in the event space at least 15 minutes prior to the event start time.
- Set up and tear down event tables and chairs according to BEO specifications and established company standards.
- Vacuum event rooms prior to events or as requested in the BEO.
- Clean windows in event spaces prior to events.
- Coordinate audio/visual setups as per the BEO, verifying that equipment is operational and ready for use before the event begins.
- Assist banquet guests with any special needs or requests throughout their function.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and setup processes.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
- Capability to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
- Must frequently squat, reach above shoulder level, crouch, balance, and push/pull, with occasional bending, twisting, climbing, and kneeling.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 25 lbs., frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs., and occasionally lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Availability for day and night shifts during the summer, as well as weekends and holidays.
