Job description:
We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to fill full-time BARISTA positions, with immediate hiring opportunities available. The position is located at Henry Ford Hospital, situated at 11800 Twelve Mile Road, Warren, MI 48093. Please note that we exclusively accept online applications for this role.

As a Barista, your primary responsibilities will include:

– Preparing espresso orders for customers and catering, following standard measures and recipes.
– Accurately entering orders into the POS system and processing cash and credit payments.
– Replenishing condiments, beverages, and supplies while ensuring cleanliness in the service area.
– Adhering to proper presentation, portion control, and meal temperature standards in accordance with HACCP guidelines.
– Maintaining the sanitization and organization of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
– Using approved recipes and following established production standards for food preparation.
– Keeping display equipment clean and free of debris during service hours.
– Thoroughly cleaning equipment and workstations before transitioning to other tasks.
– Greeting customers courteously and ensuring satisfaction, while addressing relevant concerns to supervisors.
– Serving customers efficiently, thereby minimizing wait times.
– Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of daily menu items and communicating this effectively to customers.
– Advocating for effective selling techniques and assisting customers in their decision-making processes.
– Merchandising display foods attractively and serving items neatly in line with standards.
– Performing other duties as assigned.
