Job description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista for an immediate full-time position.

Location: Premier Health – 1 Wyoming Street, Dayton, OH 45409. Please note that applications will be accepted online only.

Schedule: This is a full-time role, with hours from Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements: Candidates must have prior barista experience.

Compensation: The hourly pay ranges from $16.00 to $17.00.

Job Summary: In this position, you will prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and related food and beverage items while adhering to HACCP guidelines and standards for quality food service operations. You will engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly, courteous manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standardized measures and recipes.
• Accurately enter orders into the POS system and process cash and credit transactions.
• Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while ensuring cleanliness of the service area.
• Guarantee proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures, in line with HACCP standards.
• Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
• Ensure proper food preparation by adhering to approved recipes and production standards.
• Keep display equipment clean and free from debris throughout service periods.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and workstation before transitioning to other assignments.
• Greet customers with courtesy and engage in a manner that promotes customer satisfaction, relaying any relevant feedback to supervisors.
• Serve customers promptly and efficiently to minimize delays in service lines.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of daily menu items and communicate them effectively to customers.
• Advocate for sales techniques by fostering good communication and assisting customers in their decision-making process.
• Ensure that all display foods are merchandised attractively according to standards, serving food neatly and appealingly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
