Job description:
What You’ll Do:
The starting salary for this position is approximately $74,000, subject to location. DRC is recognized as a qualifying employer under the federal Public Service Student Loan Forgiveness program.

– Conduct detailed screenings, mental health evaluations, and crisis services, including suicide watch assessments, within the designated scope of practice.
– Provide clinical oversight and guidance to lower-level staff.
– Potentially serve as the treatment team coordinator.
– Implement advanced practice individual and group clinical interventions as outlined in each individual’s mental health treatment plan, utilizing approved clinical strategies under supervisory direction.
– Offer clinical case management services for an assigned caseload, ensuring compliance with the mental health treatment plan among offenders.
– Perform psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of an interdisciplinary approach to treatment planning.
– Prepare transfer and discharge summaries.
– Collaborate with institutional staff regarding the mental health needs and institutional adjustments of inmates within the caseload.
– Establish and maintain communication with families and community agencies.
– Exchange information pertinent to patient care and treatment.
– Facilitate appropriate community and re-entry referrals as directed by the mental health treatment team.
– Document all inmate interactions, clinical case management progress notes, discharge plans, and other necessary forms and reports in accordance with policy and protocol.
– Participate in supervisory meetings and in-service training sessions aimed at professional development.
– Engage in peer review activities as assigned.

Qualifications:
– Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board, or
– Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board.
