Compensation:
This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $20 to $24 per hour.

Position Details:
As a Branch Sales Associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer solutions and building connections with walk-in clients through informed guidance and a positive demeanor. Your role will involve maximizing sales opportunities, fostering customer loyalty, and exceeding customer expectations. Throughout your day, you will shift focus from assisting customers to performing various warehouse duties. You will report directly to the Store Manager.

You Will:
– Oversee the complete customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, safe product picking, and loading customer vehicles.
– Seek opportunities to maximize sales and promote customer loyalty.
– Tailor your communication style to suit different audiences in person, over the phone, and via email.
– Pick, prepare, and stage will-call orders and manage shipping products.
– Process customer backorders and effectively organize incoming stock.
– Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
– Conduct inventory counts.
– Learn to navigate various computer systems for both customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
– Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure the branch meets Grainger’s appearance criteria.
– Adhere to safety guidelines and comply with all process standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.

You Have:
– The flexibility to work within branch operating hours.
– The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.
– A willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
