Job description:

The Breakfast Attendant is responsible for the setup and maintenance of the daily complimentary breakfast service, ensuring that all food items are adequately stocked and presented. This role requires a personable and proactive individual who thrives in a morning environment, capable of engaging with guests while serving breakfast. The Attendant must uphold a professional appearance by adhering to the uniform policy.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Storing and handling food items in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Preparing food items such as cut fruit, coffee, and juices from concentrates.
  • Stocking beverage machines and dispensers with coffee, juice, and milk.
  • Arranging cold food options, including pastries, muffins, and cereals for guest self-service.
  • Cleaning all equipment used for food service and maintaining cleanliness in all food preparation and serving areas. This includes mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and scrubbing as necessary.
  • Emptying and washing trash containers and managing waste disposal from the dumpster area.
  • Monitoring and managing inventory to accommodate changes in business levels while minimizing spoilage.
  • Completing assigned duties and confirming completion on the daily checklist.
  • Lifting, pulling, or pushing weights of at least 20 lbs as required.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in food preparation and food sanitation is required.
