Position Summary
As a Breakfast Host/Hostess, you will serve as the first point of contact for our guests in the morning, responsible for preparing and serving our complimentary breakfast bar. Your role will involve greeting each guest with warmth, ensuring their satisfaction, and promptly managing the clearing of tables post-meal. Maintaining high standards of sanitation and cleanliness will be essential, along with addressing any guest challenges to enhance their experience. The breakfast shift operates from 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and positions require a friendly demeanor and attentiveness aligned with our brand standards. Multitasking skills are critical, alongside adherence to food health codes. Key duties include taking orders, displaying and stocking food during service hours, and maintaining a clean workstation and displayware. Our industry operates 24/7, catering to guests every day of the week.

Physical Responsibilities
This role involves physical exertion, such as lifting and transporting items weighing at least 25 pounds, as well as pushing and pulling carts and equipment up to 100 pounds. You will be required to perform various physical movements throughout the work areas and must possess the ability to stand and maintain a well-paced mobility for extended periods. The work environment encompasses the restaurant and all areas of the hotel, with temperature and noise levels varying in both indoor and outdoor settings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) or equivalent work experience.
  • Related Work Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in food and beverage service is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficient computer skills are required, with familiarity in Microsoft Office and experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems being advantageous. A solid understanding of the English language, both written and verbal, is essential.
  • Supervisory Experience: None required.
