Job description:
NACE Level 1 & QC Coating Inspector Certifications are required.
Hourly Rate: $37-$39
Per Diem: $30
Accommodation provided for traveling personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of structural steel coatings, monitor containment practices, dispose of hazardous waste, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings in compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain comprehensive daily records of field observations.
- Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
- Execute material sampling and testing as necessary.
- Collaborate with project management teams to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license.
- Prior experience in coatings inspection.
- Proficiency with technology.
- Ability to routinely bend, kneel, climb, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs; must be medically fit to wear a respirator.
- Capacity to wear a safety harness and lanyard.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including extremes of heat and cold, humidity, and dryness.
- NACE Coatings Inspector-Level 1 & QC certification required.
