We are currently seeking candidates for both full-time and part-time positions, with shifts primarily in the early afternoon to evening. Availability for some evenings and weekends is required. Compensation ranges from $14.00 to $15.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Set tables and maintain workstations in an orderly fashion.
  2. Take orders and provide service and requested items with graciousness and courtesy.
  3. Clear dishes from tables during and after meal service.
  4. Respond to questions regarding menu items with confidence and accuracy.

Additional Duties:

  1. Assist in delivering a high standard of customer service to residents and their guests.
  2. Support dishwashing and the distribution of clean dishes as necessary.
  3. Ensure safe and sanitary conditions in work areas.
  4. Uphold personal hygiene standards and comply with the department dress code.
  5. Complete all assigned cleaning tasks diligently.
  6. Participate in in-service training and educational sessions as required.
  7. Execute specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in understanding and following instructions in English, along with effective communication skills.
  2. Experience in a fine dining environment at a hotel, restaurant, or club is preferred; training will be provided.
  3. Ability to interpret and explain menu items, address inquiries, and manage the meal service process.
  4. Capacity to collaborate closely with residents, guests, families, supervisors, and peers, demonstrating courtesy, tact, and graciousness.

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

The role is conducted indoors, necessitating the ability to stand or walk for the entirety of the workday. Candidates must be capable of independently lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs, as well as pushing and pulling bus carts weighing up to 50 lbs. Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and balancing are essential throughout the day. The ability to see, hear, and speak is also required.
