NBCUniversal’s Advertising Platforms & Operations team is dedicated to the product development, project management, and daily operations of the comprehensive advertising technology suite that supports NBCUniversal’s $8 billion annual advertising business for both internal and external clients.
The Programmatic Ad Operations team, situated within Business Operations & Services, is a dynamic and collaborative group responsible for executing all programmatic guaranteed and private marketplace transactions on both a domestic and global scale. The Programmatic Sales Operations Campaign Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of a programmatic deal, which includes deal creation, revisions, and ensuring that digital assets adhere to specifications throughout the campaign duration.
In this capacity, the Programmatic Sales Operations team collaborates closely with the planning and sales teams to ensure advertising campaigns run seamlessly and meet or exceed client expectations. We seek a detail-oriented, technically proficient problem-solver with exceptional customer service skills and strong leadership qualities to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead live troubleshooting calls with clients to resolve specification issues.
- Participate in weekly POD meetings to ensure alignment among sales, planning, and operations teams.
- Establish regular reporting to identify trends in creative failures across various ad distributors and demand-side platforms (DSPs).
- Pursue knowledge within the programmatic ecosystem to enhance support for internal and external partners.
- Ensure media delivery complies with published specifications and timelines.
- Interact directly with the Programmatic Sales Team and clients to guarantee campaign fulfillment.
- Acquire functional knowledge of trafficking programmatic deals in FreeWheel, OperativeOne, and Google Ad Manager.
- Manage the Indirect Demand programmatic business in collaboration with various external partners.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Effectively multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain organization and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Sales Operations.
- Familiarity with programmatic advertising.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States.
- A willingness to work within the entertainment media industry, including availability during weekends for live event support.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience trafficking in an ad server (e.g., Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel).
- Proficient in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, etc.
