If so, Right at Home is actively seeking caregivers in Ada, Michigan, to deliver essential one-on-one care to clients. As caregivers, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily living activities, helping them maintain independence, and ensuring they remain at home rather than in high-risk nursing facilities. Please note that this position is available for part-time and full-time commitments only.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Companionship: Engage clients through conversation, activities, light housekeeping, errands, and transportation to appointments, as well as assist with medication reminders.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with personal care tasks, including meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, exercise encouragement, and grooming.
  • Charting and Reporting: Effectively communicate any concerns and changes in clients’ conditions to the office and care team to ensure clients’ health is prioritized and their quality of life enhanced, providing peace of mind to their loved ones.

Caregiver Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months experience in caring for a senior or adult
  • Genuine warmth and compassion for individuals in your care
  • Ability to competently communicate and perform assigned tasks
  • Completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills and Qualifications (not required):

  • No certification is required; however, we offer competitive compensation for licensed CNA and HHA certifications and experience.
