Oakleigh of Macomb Senior Living Community is seeking compassionate Caregivers who possess enthusiasm and a positive attitude to enhance the lives of our residents during their stay.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with essential care needs, including but not limited to dressing, grooming, bathing, and incontinence care.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the living environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and communicate any concerns promptly to supervisors.
  • Exercise sound judgment to ensure client care and safety.
  • Engage professionally with residents’ families, support services, and fellow team members.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Prior experience working with elderly populations.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
  • A positive attitude and punctuality for all shifts.
