Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will significantly impact the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living, leading small group activities and crafts, addressing hygiene needs, administering medication, coordinating community outings, and empowering individuals to Live Life to the Fullest.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small group and skill-building activities.
  • Document individual goals and progress.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation.
  • Support with medication management.
  • Perform light cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred.
  • First Aid and CPR certification is required.
  • Familiarity with basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills.
  • Commitment to adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with creativity and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds.
