We are seeking dedicated caregivers in the Walled Lake Area to provide personalized companion care and daily living assistance to the elderly and individuals requiring recuperative or continuing care.

Responsibilities (may vary by client):

  • Personal Care (ADLs)
  • Assistance with showering, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Monitoring mobility and safety
  • Support with dressing and housekeeping tasks
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support, including cleanup
  • Adherence to the individualized plan of care
  • Professional communication with families and team members

Additional Duties:

  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Client Locations:

  • Primarily in Hazel Park
  • Preference will be given to caregivers residing close to clients

Summary:
As a Caregiver for the Elderly, you will deliver compassionate and tailored care to seniors, prioritizing their comfort and well-being. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will leverage your expertise in long-term care and personal assistance to help residents with daily activities while ensuring a safe living environment.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in long-term care and home & community care
    • Strong skills in personal care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
    • Familiarity with first aid and emergency response procedures
    • Experience in assisted living and memory care environments
    • Understanding of resident rights and vital signs monitoring
    • Ability to effectively engage with seniors, including those with developmental disabilities and conditions such as Parkinson’s disease
    • Competence in meal preparation and maintaining a clean living space

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Morning shifts
    • Weekends as required
