If you are a compassionate and supportive individual with experience caring for seniors or adults, Right at Home is seeking caregivers immediately to support clients in Ada, Michigan. Caregivers play a pivotal role in assisting clients with daily living activities, with our primary objective being to foster independence while ensuring they remain in the comfort of their homes, away from high-risk nursing facilities. This position is not a PRN role; it is available as part-time or full-time only.

Caregiver Shifts Available: Mornings, Days, Evenings, Nights, and Overnights

Caregiver Responsibilities:

  • Companionship: Engage clients with conversation, activities, light housekeeping, running errands, and accompanying them to appointments while assisting with medication reminders.
  • Personal Care: Provide assistance with personal care, which may include meal preparation, bathing, feeding, toileting, transferring, encouraging exercise, and grooming.
  • Charting and Reporting: Communicate effectively with the office and care team regarding any concerns and changes in clients’ conditions to ensure their health and quality of life are prioritized, while offering reassurance to their loved ones.

Caregiver Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience caring for a senior or adult
  • A warm and compassionate approach to caregiving
  • Proficiency in communicating and performing assigned tasks competently
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check, BMV check, TB test, and drug screen
  • Valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation

Preferred Skills and Qualifications (but not required):

  • No certification required; however, compensation is commensurate with licensed CNA and HHA certifications and experience.
