Job description:

As members of our interdisciplinary team, you will deliver hands-on personal care, monitor changes in client conditions, perform basic procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and assist clients with incidental and instrumental activities of daily living within a home setting. All tasks will be executed in accordance with the policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare, as well as applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver essential personal care and support to enable seniors to safely remain in their homes.
  • Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship.
  • Aid clients with ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Provide medication reminders, maintain documentation of client conditions, and communicate any concerns to a supervisor.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive home environment with clear pathways.
  • Engage clients in activities that promote joy, such as puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of six months of prior adult caregiving experience or successful completion of a CNA course/certificate.
  • Two positive references.
