Join our dedicated team at Home Instead, where we are seeking compassionate and caring Weekend Care Professionals to support our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults within Erie, Huron, and Ottawa Counties. We provide a range of non-medical services that empower seniors to maintain their independence and face the challenges of aging with dignity and care.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Engage in companionship and conversation
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Provide medication and appointment reminders
- Deliver specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s
- Communicate effectively and congenially with clients
- Successfully complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Hold a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
Experience with aging family members is valuable; additional training will be provided by Home Instead.
