Job description:

Join our team at Home Instead, where we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Weekend Care Professionals to contribute to our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in Erie, Huron, and Ottawa Counties. We provide a range of non-medical services that enable seniors to remain in the comfort of their own homes, all while addressing the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing companionship and engaging in conversations
  • Assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Offering medication and appointment reminders
  • Supporting individuals with Alzheimer’s care
  • Communicating effectively with clients in a warm and friendly manner
  • Completing necessary background checks, including criminal history, motor vehicle records, and drug screening
  • Holding a valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (required when driving clients)
