At Home Instead in Clawson, you will transcend the standard role of a caregiver to become a Care Professional (Care Pro).

We are seeking both part-time and full-time Care Pros to join our team, with availability during weekdays and weekends. Acknowledging the value of your time, we require shifts to be a minimum of four hours and implement block scheduling to foster consistent and reliable work patterns for our Care Professionals.

Responsibilities
Your shift will commence with travel to the home of your assigned client. Given the diverse needs of our clients, we match Care Professionals’ skills accordingly. Responsibilities may include light housekeeping, companionship, outings, medical appointments, personal hygiene assistance (showers, toileting, dressing, grooming, oral care), escorting, transferring, medication reminders, and other assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs). Please note that you will not be responsible for any skilled nursing tasks, such as administering medications, injections, wound care, or therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate closely with our Registered Nurse to deliver the highest quality of care to seniors in our community.

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Effective communication skills with clients
  • Reliable transportation, including proof of registration and insurance
