As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Observing and reporting changes in residents’ conditions immediately to a supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections to residents according to their medical charts.
  • Following established schedules to assist residents with repositioning.
  • Documenting all medications in compliance with prescribed procedures.
  • Exercising sound judgment in providing care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Supporting colleagues in their duties as necessary.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs.
  • Assisting with meal trays and providing eating support as needed.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
