As a caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
  • Maintaining a clean living environment, which may involve light housekeeping tasks
  • Adhering to all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
  • Monitoring residents for changes in condition and promptly communicating any concerns to your supervisor
  • Administering medications and injections as prescribed in medical charts
  • Following the set schedule to assist residents with repositioning
  • Accurately documenting medication administration
  • Exercising sound judgment in client care and safety
  • Collaborating with team members to support overall operations
  • Completing all required documentation and charting
  • Responding to call lights and assessing residents’ needs
  • Assisting with meal trays and providing support during meals
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work every other weekend
