Job Description
Job Title: Caregiver Kent Ohio Flexible Schedule
Company: Home Instead Senior Care
Location: Kent, OH
Pay: $16 – 19 per hour
AI Pay Analysis: The hourly pay rate of $16 to $19 for a “Caregiver” position in Kent, Ohio, falls within the lower to mid-range of industry standards for similar roles. According to data from various labor market sources, caregiver wages in Ohio typically range from $12 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and specific job requirements. Given that Kent is located in a region with a moderate cost of living, this pay rate appears competitive but may not fully reflect the rising demand for caregivers, particularly those providing specialized services or training. Additionally, flexible scheduling can make the position more attractive, potentially offsetting concerns about the hourly wage. Overall, while the pay is reasonable, it might be beneficial for employers to assess local labor market trends and consider offering competitive benefits to attract and retain qualified candidates.
