Homestead Health Care is seeking dedicated Caregivers to join our Senior Living Facility in Fort Gratiot, MI. Candidates must be available to work a combination of first and second shifts, specifically from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with essential care needs, which may include dressing, grooming, bathing, and incontinence care.
• Administer medications and injections in accordance with physician orders and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, which may include performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Monitor and assess changes in residents’ conditions, communicating any concerns to the supervisor immediately.
• Complete all required documentation and charting accurately and timely.
• Engage with residents’ families, support services, and coworkers in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with team members to support their responsibilities as needed.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations, including infection control measures.
• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of a criminal background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working with the elderly is preferred
