Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance.
  • Administer medications and provide hands-on care for each resident.
  • Maintain a clean living environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards, including infection control protocols.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate observations to the supervisor.
  • Administer medications and injections in accordance with medical documentation.
  • Follow scheduled tasks, including assisting residents with repositioning.
  • Document medication administration accurately.
  • Exercise sound judgment in providing client care and ensuring safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete their responsibilities.
  • Complete all required documentation and charting.
  • Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly.
  • Assist residents with meal trays and dining as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:
