Kingsley Senior Living Facility in Canton, MI is seeking dedicated Care Staff to join our team. Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Take primary responsibility for medication administration while providing hands-on care to each resident.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, which may involve light housekeeping duties.
  • Adhere to all safety and health standards, including proper infection control practices.
  • Monitor and assess changes in residents’ conditions, promptly communicating any concerns to the supervisor.
  • Administer medications and injections as prescribed in residents’ medical charts.
  • Assist with resident repositioning according to established schedules.
  • Document medication administration according to established procedures.
  • Exercise sound judgment in delivering client care and ensuring resident safety.
  • Collaborate with other team members to support their duties.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and charting.
  • Respond to call lights and assess residents’ needs accordingly.
  • Obtain meal trays and assist residents during mealtime.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Availability to work every other weekend.
