Currently, we have midnight shifts available from 10 PM to 6 AM. We provide a pathway for career progression, beginning all new hires as caregivers, with opportunities for training to become a Med Tech.

As a caregiver at Homestead, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking.
  • Maintaining a clean living environment, including light housekeeping tasks.
  • Complying with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
  • Assessing changes in residents’ conditions and communicating them promptly to your supervisor.
  • Administering medications and injections in accordance with medical charts.
  • Following established schedules and assisting residents with repositioning.
  • Documenting medication as per procedure.
  • Exercising sound judgment to ensure client care and safety.
  • Supporting team members with their duties as needed.
  • Completing all required documentation and charting.
  • Responding to call lights and assessing resident needs.
  • Assisting with meal trays and aiding residents during mealtimes.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work every other weekend is required.
