What You’ll Do:
As an On-Call Caregiver, you will step in to ensure our clients receive uninterrupted, high-quality care when their regular caregivers are unavailable. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping.
  • Offering mobility support and medication reminders.
  • Adapting to various environments, including clients’ homes and facilities, and assisting with more complex care needs, such as transfers, incontinence care, and medical equipment support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Availability: Must be available at least 3-4 days per week, including weekends, and respond promptly to on-call requests.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a caregiver role, including personal care experience.
  • Reliability: Dependable transportation and a commitment to providing excellent care.
  • Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others with a positive and empathetic attitude.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be able to commit to being on-call for emergency deployment within Western Wayne and Downriver counties, including the ability to work in homes with pets, smoke, and other potential environmental factors.
