We are looking for dedicated and empathetic Caregivers to join our team within the Senior Living Community in Allen Park, MI. The Caregiver will play a vital role in assisting residents with activities of daily living and providing essential companionship and emotional support. Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and accurately monitor and document residents’ medication intake.
• Assist residents facing mobility challenges, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents, including light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Provide regular updates on residents’ well-being and report any changes in their condition to the supervisor.
• Communicate professionally with families, support services, and colleagues at Homestead.
• Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Prior experience working with the elderly is preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Availability to work every other weekend is required.
• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team; punctuality is crucial for every shift.
