The Rochelle and surrounding areas are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team. Home Instead is currently hiring part-time caregivers to fulfill the vital role of ensuring that aging adults remain safe and comfortable in their homes. We provide a range of non-medical services that enable seniors to face the challenges of aging with dignity, compassion, and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations
  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
  • Remind clients about medications and appointments
  • Help with grooming and bathing
  • Support clients with toileting and incontinence needs
  • Offer specialized Alzheimer’s care
  • Facilitate transportation to appointments and errands as necessary

While prior caregiving experience is preferred, it is not required. All Home Instead caregivers, referred to as Care Professionals or "Care Pros," will undergo specific paid training crafted by Home Instead and receive in-house certification in Personal Care tasks. This training prepares our Care Pros to competently assist clients with grooming, bathing, continence care, and mobility, ensuring confidence when providing support in the client’s home and promoting their emotional, physical, and mental well-being.

Requirements to be a Home Instead Care Professional:

  • A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, with a readiness to transport clients as required
  • This position primarily serves clients in areas including Rochelle, Chana, Byron, Oregon, Steward, Creston, Lindenwood, Monroe Center, and surrounding communities
  • Ability to treat and care for aging adults and their property with dignity and respect
  • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating friendliness and compassion toward clients
  • Reliable and trustworthy character
  • Flexibility to work various shifts

Preferred availability includes part-time employment with hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Sunday.
