Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Greet every customer warmly and operate the register with precision and efficiency.
  • Become proficient in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales, ensuring adherence to all age verification and legal requirements.
  • Provide exceptional service and actively upsell to enhance customer experience and boost sales.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment, both inside and outside the store, which includes:
    • Thoroughly cleaning high-traffic restrooms.
    • Sanitizing gas pumps, including nozzles, screens, and water buckets.
    • Picking up litter and maintaining the cleanliness of the parking lot.
    • Disposing of trash in varied weather conditions.
  • Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to ensure merchandise appears fresh and appealing.
  • Uphold a clean and organized store environment—sweeping, mopping, washing windows, and ensuring entryways are tidy.
  • Be willing to cross-train in other departments, including the deli, as required.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, stepping in to assist wherever needed.

Qualifications:

  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old in select states (AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, CO); must be 21 years old in all other states.
  • Availability: Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, embracing the dynamic nature of retail.
