Responsibilities include ensuring that restrooms are spotless, maintaining the cleanliness of the surrounding area, and guaranteeing that every corner of the store is safe and welcoming. Responsibilities

Key Duties:

  • Greet each customer warmly and operate the register with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Achieve expertise in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while ensuring compliance with age verification and legal standards.
  • Provide attentive service and actively seek opportunities to upsell, enhancing the customer experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety both inside and outside the store, which includes:
    • Conducting thorough cleaning of high-use restrooms.
    • Sanitizing gas pumps, including nozzles, screens, and water buckets.
    • Picking up litter and trash from the store and surrounding area.
    • Disposing of trash in the dumpster, regardless of weather conditions.
  • Restock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise appealing and well-stocked.
  • Uphold a clean and organized store by sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and maintaining entryways.
  • Cross-train in additional departments, including the deli, as needed.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Collaborate as a team player, assisting wherever necessary.

Shift Hours: 2 PM to 10 PM or 4 PM to 12 AM.

Qualifications

  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; for all other states, must be 21 years or older.
  • Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, fully embracing the retail schedule. This position is for second shift, typically between 2 PM and midnight.
  • Work Ethic: Prepared to work diligently and remain on your feet for most of the shift; comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Communication Skills: Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
