Are you ready to make a significant impact during the afternoons and evenings? Our second-shift Sales Associates (typically scheduled from 2 PM to Midnight) play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and efficient store environment for every customer.
We are seeking dependable, diligent team members who thrive during these later hours and take pride in performing essential tasks, such as ensuring restrooms are spotless, keeping outdoor areas litter-free, and maintaining a safe and clean store. If you are hands-on, enjoy assisting others, and are prepared to take on a variety of responsibilities, this position may be an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet every customer warmly and operate the register with precision and efficiency.
- Gain expertise in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales while adhering to all age verification and legal requirements.
- Provide friendly service and upsell customers to enhance sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety both inside and outside the store, which includes:
- Deep cleaning high-traffic restrooms.
- Sanitizing gas pumps (nozzles, screens, water buckets).
- Picking up litter from the floor and parking lot.
- Disposing of trash in all weather conditions.
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking appealing and well-stocked.
- Ensure a clean and organized store environment by sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and maintaining entryways.
- Be open to cross-training in other departments, including deli, as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Work collaboratively as a team member and assist where required.
Shift Hours: 4 PM – 12 AM

Pay Rate: $12.48/hour
Qualifications:
- Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO; must be 21 years or older in all other states.
- Availability: Must be able to work weekends and holidays, fully embracing the rhythm of retail. This is a second-shift role.
- Willingness: Prepared to work hard and remain on your feet for most of your shift, both indoors and outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Communication Skills: Effectively read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Math Proficiency: Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication, are required.
- Physical Ability: Frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Pre-Employment Screening: Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check required.
- Personable and Positive: A friendly demeanor and a talent for making others feel welcome.
- Detail-Oriented: Awareness of the small details that enhance the customer experience.
- Reliable and Responsible: A consistent presence during critical midday and early evening hours.
