Join a leading company in the foodservice industry and embark on a rewarding career with US Foods®. Our Delivery Drivers earn $28.90 per hour, with a Monday through Friday work schedule, allowing you to be home every night.

Key Highlights:

  • Compensation & Schedule: Delivery Drivers can expect to earn an average of $75K – $85K annually in their first year. New hires will initially have a 4-day work week until training is completed, followed by a regular Monday to Friday schedule. Shifts typically start between 3-6 AM and last from 8-12 hours, with occasional Saturday work as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate trucks to ensure timely deliveries to customers.

  • Handle customer payments and collections as applicable.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to consistently lift, carry, push, or pull weights ranging from 20 to 80+ lbs.
  • Comfortable driving and working in various weather conditions, making frequent stops (10+ per shift).

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by your state of residence, along with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • A minimum of six months of commercial driving experience required, or three months within the food and beverage delivery industry.
  • Preference for candidates who can operate manual transmissions, which may be required in specific locations.
  • Proficiency in reading and communicating in English is essential for understanding traffic signs and effectively interacting with customers.
