Job description:

As a Client Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing and supporting our Core Accounts within the sector. Your primary focus will be on ensuring client satisfaction, driving retention, and identifying opportunities for small-scale growth through user add-ons and ancillary products. This position demands efficient management of a substantial client base, specifically through campaign-based initiatives and responsive customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a large portfolio of Core Accounts, prioritizing customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries and support requests.
  • Participate in and execute targeted campaign initiatives to engage with the Core Account base.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for small upsells, including user add-ons and ancillary products.
  • Monitor product usage and customer engagement within the assigned account base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and ensure seamless product implementation and support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and account status within the CRM system.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of retention strategies for Core Accounts.
  • Stay informed about product updates and basic tax workflow processes to deliver accurate information to clients.
  • Identify potential accounts that may be candidates for growth into higher spending tiers.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 0-1 year of experience in customer service, account management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of tax and accounting software solutions is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to cultivate positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
