Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and surveys of long-term care facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work is mandatory.
  • Completion of CMS’s Long-Term Care Basic Training along with successful passage of the Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test (SMQT) is required.
  • A minimum of two years of recent experience as a surveyor focused on accrediting or certifying long-term care facilities.
  • Current licensure to practice as an LCSW is essential.
