POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our Long Run team for the 2nd or 3rd shift. If you are enthusiastic about precision, efficiency, and quality, we invite you to consider this opportunity. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the following areas:
CNC Machine Operation:
- Operate one or more CNC machines to accurately cut and machine metal workpieces according to specifications.
- Load CNC machines with raw stock, monitor tool life, change tooling, and make necessary adjustments.
- Package finished products efficiently and accurately.
Steel Material Production:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for steel assembly projects.
- Assemble steel components with precision, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled steel parts to meet established standards.
Quality Assurance:
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure all machined parts adhere to stringent standards.
- Collect and document data to maintain comprehensive quality control records.
Maintenance and Housekeeping:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks to uphold the mechanical integrity of CNC machines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient workplace.
Supporting PSM’s Success:
- Operate CNC machines by loading raw stock, monitoring tool life, changing tooling, making offsets, and packaging products.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards through regular inspections.
- Meet or exceed production efficiency and rate requirements.
- Maintain mechanical integrity of machines through diligent maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
- Collect and document relevant data.
