Job description:

The Estimator’s primary responsibility is to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately creating estimates and coordinating repair needs. This includes effective communication with customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator is tasked with assessing vehicle damage and documenting necessary repairs and parts replacements in the damage appraisal. By collaborating with team members, the Estimator contributes significantly to achieving the facility’s key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Document every customer interaction thoroughly and maintain accurate updates.
  • Provide customers with timely and accurate information, guiding them through the repair process to ensure excellent service.
  • Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes, and metrics.
  • Maintain adherence to all WOW Operating Way standards regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication.
  • Relay customer requests and needs to the appropriate team members.
  • Greet customers warmly, both in person and over the phone.
  • Demonstrate understanding of all required insurance programs and procedures.
  • Participate in daily production walks with the management team, as needed.
  • Support team members collaboratively.
  • Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings if necessary.
  • Engage in training sessions and workshops recommended by the Store Manager.
  • Maximize performance to contribute to the store’s KPIs.
  • Uphold the company’s core values: Honesty, Integrity, and Respect.

Education and Experience:

  • Knowledge of repairs and Original Equipment (OE) guidelines.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to identify resources for information.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in compliance for Direct Repair Programs (DRPs).
  • Willingness to complete I-CAR Training.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to seek answers and solutions effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Compliance with DRP requirements and training commitments.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Compensation Details:

Commission for this position is based on location, revenue metrics, sales performance, and individual contributions, in accordance with company policy. Estimated annual compensation ranges from $46,800 to $115,000. In the event that total compensation in a pay period falls below minimum wage, clocked hours will be recalibrated to ensure compliance with local or state minimum wage laws, whichever is higher.
