Job description:
As a Commercial Lines Manager with our agency, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our operations. Your responsibilities will include:
– Managing a distinguished portfolio of high-end Commercial Lines clients.
– Developing and refining departmental workflows and procedures to enhance overall efficiency.
– Collaborating closely with the Director of Commercial Lines to oversee daily operations.
– Identifying growth opportunities within the department, including cross-selling initiatives and the expansion of coverage options.
– Driving the achievement of agency goals and performance benchmarks.
– Continuously improving the client service experience to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
– Generating and analyzing monthly reports to evaluate progress toward departmental objectives.
– Cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with insurance carriers.
– Fostering a productive and positive work environment within the department.
– Providing ongoing training to ensure optimal utilization of our agency management system and carrier websites.
– Participating in annual staff evaluations and contributing to the recruitment and training of new team members.
– Taking on additional responsibilities as required by the role.
To excel in this position, candidates should possess:
– A minimum of 5 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance.
– An active MA Property & Casualty License.
– Proficiency with Applied Epic (strongly preferred).
– A self-motivated approach coupled with a strong sense of accountability.
– Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
– The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
– Outstanding problem-solving capabilities and customer service acumen.
– Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
