Job description:

Responsible for the development and implementation of communication strategies aimed at fostering awareness, interest, and advocacy for Wayne Metro’s mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and enhance the agency website, including the creation of landing pages, updating programmatic information, and improving user experience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to execute marketing strategies across various digital platforms to meet programmatic objectives.
  • Organize and facilitate virtual and hybrid agency events and meetings, encompassing planning, design, copywriting, and on-site support.
  • Lead the daily operations of the communications team.
  • Cultivate relationships with clients and staff to convey the client journey through compelling content such as blogs, videos, and photography.
  • Develop and distribute email communications, including a monthly newsletter for stakeholders.
  • Maintain reporting systems, create dashboards, and communicate campaign outcomes to various levels of agency leadership.
  • Manage and curate content for the agency’s social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Approach work with a positive attitude, fostering collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Conduct all duties in a manner that adheres to Wayne Metro’s policies and procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, or a combination of three to six years of relevant experience and education.
  • Proficient in utilizing social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube), as well as tools like Mailchimp and Classy.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Analytics, and AdWords.
  • Graphic design experience is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional writing and copy creation skills.
  • Strong leadership and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience in a non-profit setting is preferred.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Licensing and Other Requirements:

  • Valid identification and reliable transportation are required.

Travel Requirements:

Work Hours:
