Job Summary
We are actively seeking a dedicated Caregiver to become part of our team. In this critical role, you will have the opportunity to significantly enhance the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), supporting personal hygiene needs, performing light housekeeping duties, dispensing medication, and engaging in various tasks aimed at improving the client’s living environment. The ideal candidate will possess qualities such as patience, compassion, and reliability. Available shifts include mornings from 6 AM to 2 PM and afternoons from 2 PM to 10 PM.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal hygiene requirements and dressing
  • Support mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
  • Prepare snacks for clients
  • Conduct light housekeeping tasks
  • Dispense medication according to prescribed guidelines
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Assist with various activities of daily living (ADLs)

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or in a similar role is preferred
  • Recent experience as a caregiver is highly desired
  • Must possess a valid Michigan Driving License and be fully COVID vaccinated
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical capacity to lift heavy objects when necessary
  • Demonstrates compassion, respect, and ethical behavior
