Job description:

We are currently seeking a full-time Cook to join our team.

Location: Reynolds & Reynolds, 2405 County Line Road, Beavercreek, OH 45430. Please note that we only accept online applications.

Schedule: This position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Further details will be provided during the interview process.

Requirements: Prior cooking experience is preferred, but we are willing to provide training.

Compensation: The pay range for this position is $17.50 to $18.50 per hour. We also offer an internal employee referral bonus.

Job Summary: The Cook is responsible for preparing food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring that high-quality food service is maintained at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
  • Serve meals or prepare them for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature regulation, and appealing presentation.
  • Adhere to established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, including cleaning after food preparation and service, and properly storing or discarding excess food.
  • Keep refrigerators and storerooms organized and comply with storage standards.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as directed.
  • Assist in production planning, record-keeping, and reporting as necessary.
  • Help with ordering and receiving food and supplies when required.
  • Report maintenance needs or any equipment issues to a supervisor promptly.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Foster positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
  • Ensure a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain proper presentation, portion control, and food temperatures, following HACCP standards.
  • Show a personal commitment to safety for oneself and others.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate protective equipment while performing job duties.
