Job description:

Place server racks on the datacenter floor with 100% precision utilizing laser measuring devices. Populate electronic components and install cabling into server racks in accordance with provided diagrams and schematics. Install rack hardware using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. Operate material handling equipment, including straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on server racks, identifying and resolving any hardware or cabling issues.

Requirements:
Proficiency in server installation, configuration, and maintenance, specifically with rack-mount servers, network switches, and storage devices. Strong understanding of server hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and VLANs. Experience with server operating systems including Windows Server and Linux, as well as virtualization technologies like VMware and Hyper-V. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces for extended periods, including tasks related to racking servers, cable management, and other manual labor in a data center environment. Proven capability to efficiently diagnose and resolve technical issues, often under tight deadlines. High attention to detail is essential.

This position entails working within a climate-controlled warehouse facility, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 to $23.50.
