Griswold Home Care for Medina, Wayne, and Western Stark Counties is actively seeking dedicated In-Home Caregivers to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist our clients in maintaining their independence and enhancing their quality of life.

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will provide personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. This position involves offering companionship and ensuring the overall well-being and comfort of our clients. We offer flexible scheduling, including daytime shifts, with clients typically requiring 4 hours of care; opportunities for longer shifts may also be available.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Prepare meals and support clients with their dietary needs.
  • Administer medication reminders.
  • Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations.
  • Assist with light housekeeping and various household tasks.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands.

Requirements:

  • Preferred: 1+ years of caregiving experience and familiarity with mechanical lifts; however, we are willing to provide training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Compassionate and empathetic disposition.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check.
