We are seeking compassionate caregivers to assist seniors and disabled adults with activities of daily living in their homes or care facilities throughout Byron Center, MI. Candidates should be available for at least two shifts per week, with a preference for those willing to work on weekends, particularly from 8 AM to 8 PM. Available shifts include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and overnights.

• You are comfortable with various aspects of caregiving, including assistance with eating, personal hygiene, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, laundry, and other household tasks.
• While you don’t need to be a gourmet chef, you should be able to prepare nutritious meals and navigate a kitchen efficiently.
• Your role may involve support in a variety of areas, including medication reminders, assistance with prescribed range-of-motion exercises, dementia care, and engaging companionship activities such as reading, listening to music, or solving puzzles.

Must Haves:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as required by the job
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
• High school diploma or GED
• Compliance with requirements for direct patient care
• Ability to pass a comprehensive employment background check
• Successful completion of a competency evaluation in accordance with state licensing laws for home health agencies
• Current CPR certification is highly recommended
• One year of experience as a Home Health Aide within a healthcare setting (in homes or facilities), along with successful completion of a state-approved Nurse Aide or Home Health Aide course
